What is Hydrostatix Laytime 365?
Hydrostatix Laytime 365 is an easy-to-use laytime calculator for the dry bulk shipping industry. It runs as an add-in for Excel and is available on Windows, Mac, mobile, and in the browser.

How does it differ from Hydrostatix Master Suite?
Hydrostatix Master Suite was originally designed to allow for seemless sharing of SOF data between agents and charterers. For this reason, it contains both a SOF app and a laytime calculator app. It runs in Windows only and is not designed for collaboration among multiple users.
Hydrostatix Laytime 365 does not currently allow seemless sharing of SOF data, and it does not have SOF functionality. It was designed to accomodate higher-priority needs of users such as real-time, multi-user collaboration; availability for MacOS/iOS; and access on mobile devices.

Can I try it before I buy? How do I know it will work for my needs?
We demonstrate the features of Hydrostatix Laytime 365 in our Quickstart Video. After watching the video, you can either purchase a 10-day trial subscription (before committing to a one-year term), or we can work with you through a more-traditional sales process to discuss your needs and provide you with a free trial.

What if I want to have a customized template for SOFs or Laytime Statements?
The software is flexible and the templates can be edited to include your logo, change layout, add remove items etc. As time permits we will also duplicate your existing template if you fax it to us, at no charge to you. If you are interested please send us a scan of your statement via "Contact Us" link. We will do our best to re-create your template in Hydrostatix format.

What about the privacy of my voyage data?
We designed the software with your privacy and security in mind. Generally, your data resides within your Excel document, wherever you choose to save it. Your voyage datat is sent to our secure servers for calculation, but it is not stored on our servers, except in isolated error situations for the purpose of resolving the error. Hydrostatix pledges not to share any voyage data with any third parties.

Why was Hydrostatix created?
The Hydrostatix team originally developed our software for our own in-house use because we were frustrated with existing solutions that were either too rudimentary or very costly.
